The data generated by the Discovery Biology group is a critical element in the selection of drug discovery targets, drug candidates and the advancement of carefully selected discovery drug programs for medicinal chemistry support and clinical development. In addition to supporting ongoing programs in a hands-on manner, the successful candidate will have a strong desire to identify new targets for medicinal chemistry support and to champion such programs from lead identification to clinical PoC studies.  The candidate should wish to work closely with scientists from other disciplines and the leadership team to make key decisions on compound and program progression.

Candidates should hold a Ph.D. in cell biology, immunology, cancer biology, computational biology or related discipline.  Experience working on tumor immunology is a plus as is familiarity with the function of immune suppressive cell types. He/she should have at least 3 years postdoctoral training though additional experience in the biotech/pharma space would be welcome and commensurate with the position.  A strong record of high impact publications is highly desired.  This role demands a highly goal-driven approach and the ability to focus on time-sensitive objectives.
